returns information
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you may return any rug purchased from us for a full refund* so long as you inform us in writing or by email within 7 working days of your order being delivered. We request that you then return the goods to us within 14 working days. You are responsible for arranging the return and the return costs. Provided the goods are returned unused in the same condition as they were sent we will issue you with a full refund on your purchase. We would recommend returning goods via a professional courier such as ParcelForce.
You must inform us in writing or by email that you intent to return your rug before sending it back to us. We can then add you to our Customer Returns List. If you return a rug to us via courier or post office without first informing us our warehouse will refuse the return delivery and it will be sent back to you.
When returning goods, you must ensure they are SATISFACTORILY WRAPPED IN WATERPROOF PACKING OR ORIGINAL DELIVERY PACKAGING. Please do not use thin plastic wrapping such as bin liners. No refund can be issued if goods are badly wrapped and are soiled or damaged when in transit.

IMPORTANT: Please include your name and order number on the outside of the packaging to enable us to identify and refund your order. We also ask that you email us at sales@modernrugs.co.uk to advise us that you intend to return your rug.
Please note the following:
*Should any goods go missing in transit when being returned we are unable to reimburse you. We advise that you use a return carrier which allows you to obtain proof of delivery (a signature) to ourselves and ensure you are covered for the value of the goods should they be lost or damaged.
*We can not refund upgraded delivery payments (e.g. International, Offshore, Saturday, Before Noon).
* During the photography process we make every effort to accurately reproduce the appearance of each rug we sell. However circumstances outside of our control such as computer monitor settings can sometimes affect how colours are displayed on your screen. Colours are subjective and the interpretation of colours can vary from person to person. If you are unsatisfied with the colour of a rug you receive for any reason you may return it for a full refund under our normal 7 day returns policy. We are unable to accept responsibility or cover the return carriage costs should there be a variation in colour within our images or descriptions.
EXCHANGES
Unfortunately we are not able to offer a collection service on exchanges. If you would like to exchange your rug please follow our normal returns procedure above. Once we have received your return we will email you to confirm you have been refunded in full. You may then go back onto our website and place a brand new order on our website for the other rug you wish to purchase.
