In the current economic climate more and more people are bargain hunting, scoping out the best deals on just about everything, and rightly so! Here at Modern Rugs we have always tried to offer low prices on our rugs with substantial savings (up to 50%) on high street prices. However we have recently been bulking our clearance section with more designs and even more savings. So if you have been waiting for a rug sale you don’t have to wait any longer.

Most of our clearance rugs are either end of line designs or one off ranges that have been bought in bulk enabling us to sell them at such a huge discount over high street prices and even our own prices! Some rugs have up to 70% off their RRPs. All rugs are brand new and are up to our usual high quality standard.

In our clearance section you will currently find a superb range of contemporary patterned shaggy rugs called Alpina that have a thick 5cm long pile. There are 6 designs and colours range from natural browns and beiges to striking black and whites. Prices start from just £54 for a 120 x 170cm, and sizes range all the way up to 200 x 290cm.

If you’re looking for something a little different to a normal run of the mill modern style rug we have 3 rugs currently on offer in our clearance section that offer high end design at vastly reduced prices. The Borker Flower, Plantation Stones and Plantation Circles each feature a unique cut out design, where the edges of the rug are actually shaped in the form of the rug pattern. Each one features a quality hand tufted wool pile which is thick and soft. Prices have been reduced to just £89 for a 120 x 180cm size. These rugs usually retail for over £150 on the high street.

Another great buy is the Eco KL22 wool rug which features a contemporary wave pattern in beige and brown tones. This rug comes from one of the UK’s most prestigious rug importers Kelaty Ltd and has been one of the best sellers over the past 2 years. This design is now being phased out to make way for brand new designs and we have bulk purchased the remaining stock. We are therefore able to offer these fantastic quality rugs for less than half the price that you would typically find them for on the UK high street or in department stores (just £89 for a 120 x 180cm size!).

Our clearance section is not just limited to the designs mentioned above, you will find much more on offer, plus new rugs are added on an almost weekly basis.
