The Christmas holidays are just around the corner and every year many of us leave everything until the last minute. With this in mind we thought it would be a good idea to post this article in our blog to inform customers of our holiday opening hours, delivery and returns information.

Modern Rugs will close at 3pm on Thursday 24th December (Christmas Eve) and will re-open on Monday 4th January 2009.  We will be despatching orders all the way up to 24th December, and aim to deliver as many orders as possible before Christmas. All orders are despatched to customers via a reliable professional courier service, we DO NOT use Royal Mail. When you order is despatched you will recieve an email allowing you to track the delivery of your order and see which day it is due to arrive on.

If you are placing an order and would like to check that you will recieve it before Christmas delivery we recommend that you call our friendly sales team on 0845 391 7907 (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm) who will be able to confirm this for you.

We have also extended our returns period by an extra 10 days for orders placed on or after 18th December to account for the days we will be closed over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Therefore if you receive you rug just before Christmas and decide that it does not suit for whatever reason you should still have plenty of time to get it back to us for a full refund or an exchange.

December one of our busiest times of year so we’ve made sure to stock up on hundreds of our most popular modern and traditional rug designs and will be working hard to provide our customers with a quick and efficient service to help take the stress out of this busy period. With many people having family and friends over they want to ensure that their house is looking its best and a rug is the ideal way to add some style and comfort to any room in the home. We also have many customers that purchase a rug from us as a gift for one of their friends or family members including children with our amazing kids rugs on offer. And because we’re online you can order from the comfort of your own home rather than fighting your way through the crowds on the high street.
