We were excited to see their new designs for 2010. We weren’t disappointed and we’re sure you won’t be either.
The first of the new rug ranges for Spring 2010 is the RO collection. The RO rugs have been I2k’s best sellers since the range was launched 6 years ago, and each year this range is refreshed with new designs that follow the latest fashion trends and in some cases create new trends of their own. Each rug is expertly hand tufted in twisted 3-ply New Zealand wool. There are 40 new designs in the RO range. It was interesting to see the use of very fashionable vibrant colours throughout this range such as fuchsia, bright oranges, purples and greens. These designs really work well and look stunning in a contemporary décor without being too garish. Prices start from £204 for a 120 x 180cm size. Sizes are available up to 180 x 270cm with some designs also available in hallway runners and circles.
The new RO4 range takes the RO rugs to the next level. Manufactured the same high standard the RO4 rugs feature up to 3 levels of pile height to give a stunning sculptured 3D effect. We love all the new RO4 designs but one of our favourites is the RO602 Rock Star which has the edges of the rug cut out around the design.
The Re:Textured rugs are a brand new addition to I2Ks portfolio. This range comes in both patterned and plain designs. The patterned designs make use of very vibrant contrasting tones so these rugs are ideal as a focal point in a room. The plain coloured rugs feature 3 subtle yet beautiful designs; floral, cobble and border. Each design comes in 6 colour ways; Ivory, Camel, Brown, Pink, Plum and Teal. Prices for both plain and patterned start from just £159; highly reasonable for such a high quality rug.
Finally the ‘Shaggies’ and ‘Silkies’ are I2Ks luxury shaggy rug collections. The Shaggies rugs have a thick New Zealand wool pile while the Silkies rugs also make use of rayon silk in their production to give them a classy pearlescent sheen. Available in fashionable plain colour ways in sizes up to 180 x 270cm, prices start from just £134 for Shaggies and £232 for Silkies.
